Using Education for Homeless Children and Youths (EHCY) Program Funds: Key Decision Points

This on-demand training video provides an overview of Subtitle VII-B of the McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act, reviews key decisions on the allowable uses of ECHY funds, uses practice scenarios to illustrate applicability, and provides valuable resources to support allowable uses of EHCY funds for supporting children and youth experiencing homelessness (CYEH). By viewing this training, participants will be able to:

  • Identify and understand key decision points in evaluating if a proposed use of EHCY program funds is permissible.
  • Gain a better understanding of NCHE’s Use of Funds Tip Sheet and how to use it to analyze the allowability of proposed uses of EHCY funds.
