Implementing Social Media & Outreach Strategies in Your McKinney-Vento Program: Tips & Best Practices

This NCHE Webinar will:

Deepen understanding of the communications landscape to include digital and print media and assess communication needs and capacity for starting and maintaining a communication presence to determine possibilities for outreach.
Review the federal law language requiring outreach and coordination efforts for SEAs and LEAs.
Demonstrate first hand examples of best practices in action about the use and effectiveness of social media and outreach methods from three states (Montana, Nevada, and Pennsylvania) who will share their experiences using various outreach methods including social media to help elevate the requirements in the federal law and to assist with training, communication, and identification efforts in their states.
