ARP-HCY Early Implementation Webinar

The American Rescue Plan Act (ARP), signed into law as the third COVID-19 federal stimulus bill in March 2021, appropriated $800,000,000 in new education funds specifically for supporting children and youth experiencing homelessness. Join the National Center for Homeless Education (NCHE), which operates the U.S. Department of Education’s federal technical assistance (TA) center for the Education for Homeless Children and Youth (EHCY) program, to:
– Review basic information about ARP-HCY funds, including key areas of funding focus and how funding is being distributed to states and school districts;
– Explore allowable usages of ARP-HCY funds; and
– Learn more about early state- and local-level ARP-HCY planning and implementation.
